Among the products shown on Haberstroh's stand were Colchester centre lathes, the new 3-axis Harrison Alpha XC CNC combination lathe, a full array of Pratt Burnerd chucks and the Dickson range of toolposts at AMB Stuttgart from 13-16 September 2016.
Class leading toolroom centre lathes, the Colchester Master and Triumph which have both recently been re-engineered giving operators even better performance, received many enquiries during the show, which have already resulted in orders being placed.
A great deal of interest was expressed in the new the 3-axis Harrison Alpha XC CNC combination lathe too. Originally launched at EMO 2015, the Alpha XC adds full c-axis operation to the world renown Alpha manual/CNC lathe range, allowing operators to turn, mill, drill and tap in just a few simple steps using the well proven, operator friendly Alpha control.
Pratt Burnerd International exhibited their range of heavy duty manual chucks, variations of the new Gripfast Combination Power Chuck as well as the European market launch of the all new Gripsafe chuck force measurement gripmeter, to great acclaim.
The New Gripsafe allows operators to effortlessly measure and record lathe chuck gripping forces and is ideal for large workshops with multiple machines - ensuring that equipment is meeting the necessary health and safety standards at all times and is already becoming a critical maintenance tool in many companies.
Mike Berry, 600 UK managing director said “AMB restarts the European exhibition season for us after the summer holidays and, combined with our presence at IMTS in Chicago at the same time, the number of visitors on the stand and enquiries received for our extensive range of lathes and chucking solutions exceeded our expectation. We now move on from these shows to others lined up in the UK, Turkey, Switzerland and Central Europe throughout October and November”.
