A team of four from 600 UK took part in The Huddersfield Town Foundation, Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Friday 12th June. The challenge was to complete the 24.5 mile route, including Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, within 12 hours.
Despite facing the warmest temperatures of the year to date, the team successfully completed the challenge in a time of eleven hours and ten minutes. In the process, they helped raise over £2,000 for a fantastic charity which supports under-privileged local children with breakfast clubs, books and excursions.
600 UK manufacture Colchester and Harrison manual and CNC lathes, Pratt Burnerd Workholding Chucks and Gamet Bearings.
All four members of the team would like to thank their colleagues, customers, suppliers, friends and family who so kindly sponsored them for the walk. They would also like to thank their fellow walkers and all from Huddersfield Town who were so supportive and made it such a fantastic event to be a part of.
