Based at their manufacturing and sales headquarters in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire, Paul Rushworth and Jonathan Smith joined 600 UK on 1 September and are tasked with key responsibilities for developing new market opportunities within Western and Central Europe.  

Paul Rushworth has returned to 600 UK to head up the launch and promotion within the UK and Europe of the hugely successful USA based, 600 Group owned, Clausing machine tool brand.   

Paul is responsible for developing plans to market Clausing’s entire machine tool range which includes mills, grinders, drills, saws and large swing lathes.   

From leaving school, Paul took up a mechanical engineering apprenticeship focussing on CNC machining and programming, progressing firstly into applications and subsequently into sales and marketing where he has enjoyed great success.  He has held a number of machine tool sales roles in both the UK and overseas including a period with Colchester in the mid 2000s.   

Paul lives with his wife, Vivienne, in Halifax, has 2 children and he coaches junior rugby league in his spare time.  

Jonathan Smith joins as European Sales Manager for Workholding products, maintaining and building on the established European distribution network for Pratt Burnerd International.  

Jonathan is an apprentice trained engineer having served his time with Harrison and has worked in a wide variety of international engineering, service and after sales support roles.  

Jonathan lives in Dewsbury with his wife, Nicola and their daughter. In his spare time Jonathan plays Crown Green Bowls and supports his local sports club.
