It was great to see so many existing and prospective customers attend our open house earlier this month!
The open house signalled a new slate of products on offer from us. Across the two-day event, there was live product demonstrations and talks on all their very latest product ranges, as well as refreshments, goodies and a special prize giveaway!
Leading the new line-up was the Storm Vertical Machining Centre range, offering linear guideways, box ways & compact toolroom machine variants, all capable of heavy-duty and precise machining.
2023 marks the 30th anniversary of Tornado CNC Turning Centres and this year, we have brought them back better than ever in new and modern configurations to give you exceptional rigidity and accuracy for any machining project.
The Colchester Student centre lathe is known throughout the industry to many as the ultimate training and apprentice’s machine tool. This year, we released the Student CNC lathe, a modernised variant proudly designed and engineered in the UK and fitted with the latest Fanuc CNC controls, giving the user ultimate flexibility in programming, including ISO, conversational Manual Guide i, or via CAD/CAM.
Also on display was new CNC and manual turret mills, providing extensive reliability, accuracy and versatility for small to medium size production runs. Our automation partner Olympus Technologies was present to demonstrate their bespoke automation solutions in tandem with Colchester’s Storm VMCs, which are automation & Industry 4.0 ready.
To complete the line-up, Colchester’s renowned range of Manual Centre Lathes and Alpha CNC/Manual Combination Lathes were on display too.
