Renowned dairy products brand Longley Farm has purchased a Harrison V390 centre lathe from 600 UK to help the company develop the machinery that makes its innovative range possible.

As part of their comprehensive new product development programme, 600 UK are bringing two new heavyweight additions to the hugely successful Harrison Alpha XS Manual / CNC lathe range.

600 UK have been working around the clock to deliver a wealth of new, high specification lathe and workholding products that will be unveiled at a 3 day Openhouse event from 2 to 4 June 2015.

600 UK celebrated a runner-up spot at a prestigious national engineering award for one of their outstanding engineers and also showcased their apprentices in a short film, highlighting the engineering opportunities available for young apprentices.

600 UK welcomed the Rt Hon Matthew Hancock MP, the Business Minister to their Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire facility on Friday 27 February 2015 where he was able to see, at first hand, the results of recent investments.

600 UK has won a prestigious regional award in the EEF/Aldermore Future Manufacturing Awards.
