When Gamet Bearings recently had a manufacturing headache, they automatically turned to their 600 Group sister company, Pratt Burnerd International who design and manufacture manual and power chucking systems at their factory in West Yorkshire, England.

Pratt Burnerd International, a division of 600 UK have launched their new chuck force measurement Gripsafe gripmeter at MACH 2016. The Gripsafe accurately measures and records chuck gripping forces within seconds.

Making its debut at MACH 2016 (Stand 5658, Hall 5) is the New Harrison Alpha XC combination CNC lathe, now incorporating driven tooling and full c-axis interpolation.

Following an unprecedented response to the introduction of their new range of Clausing Precision Machine Tools, 600 UK have announced an Openhouse event on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 March at their manufacturing facility in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire.

600 UKs presence at MACH 2016 extends to 3 individual stands, comprising Colchester and Harrison manual and CNC lathes on Stand 5658 in Hall 5; Pratt Burnerd International workholding and chucking systems on Stand 4501 in Hall 4 and 600 UKs benchmark education lathes on Stand 4776 in the Hall 4 Learning and Development Zone, where they are exhibited together with the highly successful, US based, Clausing range of metal cutting machine tools which are being exhibited for the first time in Europe.
