Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently hiring for the following positions, based at our European Technology Centre in Elland, West Yorkshire.

 

Management Accountant

Reporting to Finance Director

The Role

To assist in the efficient running of the department and to ensure the accuracy and timely presentation of financial information for 600 UK Ltd & Colchester GmbH. Monthly production of management accounts to strict deadlines will be necessary.

Responsibility for the production and full reconciliations for the Colchester Machine Tools Solutions businesses.

The focus of your role will be to prepare the monthly management accounts and financial reporting for the UK and German business and the management of the day to day business of the department.

Cashflows will also require preparation daily as there will be a requirement for producing a cash forecast periodically.

In particular, the review, control and interrogation of key areas including trade receivables, stock and asset management will be a fundamental part of the role.

The preparation of reconciliations each month will be a key responsibility and the continual development of the existing reporting to ensure it is relevant and useful for the business going forward will also be an important focus area.

Experience

Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant with experience of producing management accounts to trial balance is required.


Package

£35k per annum with pension, healthcare and death in service benefit.


Trial Period

Three months from date of commencement

Junior Material Controller

The Role

• Ability to interpret data from MRP
• Analyse data to calculate usage trends
• Manage relationships with suppliers
• Generate supplier forecasts
• Manage inventory in UK & Overseas
• Completing and communicating purchase orders via email and phone
• Organising imports and exports where necessary
• Support team members as required

Junior Spares Administrator

The Role

• Handling incoming sales orders and enquiries via email and phone
• Responsible for full order process from quote-order process-ship-invoice
• Follow up on quotes to maximise orders
• Provide excellent customer service by directly handling issues and requests
• Completion of shipping documents for UK and Overseas parcels, liaising with couriers to follow up on any issues
• Develop and manage e-shops
• Develop product knowledge to eventually be able to provide technical advice to customers
• Support team members as required
