Experienced CNC Machinist

Colchester Machine Tool Solutions has been manufacturing Lathes for over 130 years with the big line ‘’The World Turns on Colchester Lathes’’ is well known in the industry. We offer to the market manual and CNC machines that are first class in design and quality and is a brand name worldwide.
The company has a state-of-the-art factory in Elland and utilises all its own CNC machines in its machine shop. In December this year we will be adding two new models, a 5 Axis Twin Spindle Turning Centre and a 4 Axis VMC, so we are now looking to strengthen the team.
We are looking for someone who is energetic and enthusiastic about machining, and not afraid to try something different!
This person must be apprentice trained and have a minimum of three years CNC experience, with an understanding of machining processes is necessary and how to build up CNC programmes at the machine. A good understanding of tooling to be able to apply the above principles. Must be able to read drawings and interpret geometric tolerancing to determine what features need machining together and must be capable of inspecting using a CMM. (training will be given).
The ideal candidate will have Fanuc experience or similar on both Turning and Milling machines.
